George Tiller Murdered

While serving as an usher at his church in Wichita, late-term abortionist George Tiller was shot and killed.
On Sunday morning, moments after services had begun at Reformation Lutheran Church, Dr. Tiller, who was acting as an usher, was shot once with a handgun, the authorities said. The gunman pointed the weapon at two people who tried to stop him, the police said, then drove off in a powder-blue Taurus. Dr. Tiller’s wife, Jeanne, a member of the church choir, was inside the sanctuary at the time of the shooting.

Here’s the press statement from Tiller’s family.

The Gateway Pundit has information on Scott Roeder, who is Tiller’s alleged killer.

Every mainstream prolife organization I’ve seen has condemned this killing including National Right to Life, Priests for Life, Family Research Council, and Americans United for Life.

I hope that Cristina Page is wrong and this killing isn’t the start of a new trend in attacking and killing abortion providers.

Professor Robert George rightly notes,
By word and deed, let us teach that violence against abortionists is not the answer to the violence of abortion. Every human life is precious. George Tiller's life was precious. We do not teach the wrongness of taking human life by wrongfully taking a human life.
