Human Cloning in California
Researchers from Stemagen, a San Diego-based biotechnology company, claim to have documented the creation of a cloned human embryos. Their research was published online today by the journal Stem Cells (here's the PDF) according to this article in the San Diego Union-Tribune. They apparently accomplished this in May of 2007 but "did not want to reveal its success until the work could be verified through genetic testing and then published in a peer-reviewed journal."
