"License? We don't need no stinkin' license!" says Alabama abortion clinic

The Alabama Health Department has filed a complaint to close down the  New Woman, All Women abortion clinic.  The clinic, which is owned by "Abortion Queen" Diane Derzis was shut down and had their license revoked.  They've recently been performing abortions without a license.

In a news release sent out by the state yesterday, Hale said, "The Alabama Department of Public Health today filed a civil complaint in Jefferson County Circuit Court seeking to enjoin operation of an unlicensed abortion/reproductive health center in Birmingham. This filing is the result of an investigation that began in February 2013.  From its investigation, ADPH determined that All Women's, Inc., doing business as New Woman All Women Health Care, continues to hold itself out to the public as an abortion provider doing business at 1001 17th St. S. in Birmingham. This is in violation of state law, administrative rules of the State Board of Health, and a consent agreement ADPH executed with Diane W. Derzis, as President of All Women's, Inc., in April 2012, and that Bruce E. Norman, M.D., is providing abortions at the 1001 17th St. S. facility doing business as the Women's Center. "
